Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in any area of Life sciences with good academic record.
Job description: The project involves C. elegans genetics, fluorescence imaging, behavioural assays
and molecular biology. To be considered for shortlisting, the candidate MUST have documented
experience in handling C. elegans, setting up genetic crosses, behavioural assays etc.
The candidate
MUST have undertaken a 6 months training during his/her Master’s degree in a research laboratory
or have worked in a research laboratory after completion of master’s degree.
Hands-on experience
in molecular biology and /or cell biology will be preferred.
Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute rules,
depending upon qualifications & experience
Rs. 25,000/- per month plus 24% HRA (As per DST OM dated 10.07.2020)
