Applications in the prescribed format are invited to the post of Laboratory –in-charge in
Central Instrumentation Facility under RESEARCH Plan Projects at KUFOS with
qualifications as detailed below:-

Essential Qualification
PhD in Biochemistry/ Organic Chemistry/PhD in Fish
Processing Technology, Fish Quality Assurance and
Management/Aquatic Environment Management/
Aquatic Animal Health Management.

Desirable qualification Experience on the analytical instruments such as HPLC,
GC, FTIR etc

Experience
Minimum 2 years of research experience in a recognized
Research Institute or University evidenced by minimum
5 research publications.

Duration/ period of appointment One year, extendable up to one more year

Maximum age limit 45 years

General Conditions

1. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where the number of applications received is large and/or where it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates, the University at its discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications/experience prescribed in the advertisement. Further, the University may also fill up the post advertised on short-term contract basis if necessary.

2. Written examination and/or interview will be conducted based on the number of candidates.

3. No interim queries regarding test/interview/selection will be entertained.

4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

with photo copies of all supporting documents. The envelope should be super-scribed
with the notification number and the post applied for.
